Special Weapons SW5

A U.S made clone of the H&K MP5, it was assembled using demilled parts kits. It was also one of the earliest clones of the MP5 or since it is semi-auto, its more of a clone of the HK-94. Although they look to be well made from the outside, they are not known to be reliable out of the box when they hit the market. Special Weapons has a notorious reputation of poor build quality, with many current and previous owners of their firearms offering the warning that if you buy one, expect to dump money into it to get it to run properly. Some H&K gunsmiths refuse to work on Special Weapons firearms because they’re a money pit for the owner. (GRH)
